The location of the hotel was great as it was near a good restaurant and close to the town centre. the staff were pleasant and welcoming, and the breakfast was basic but sufficient. the room was lovely and comfortable, with great facilities that were better than some Airbnb accommodations, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The building had a lot of charm and character, which made it a welcome break from generic chain hotels. the private parking was a bonus, and the location was convenient to the motorway and within walking distance of restaurants. the comfortable beds and clean, well, equipped rooms were exactly what I needed for my business trip. Plus, the breakfast had a good selection of fresh and tasty items, including delicious yogurt and freshly squeezed orange juice.

The lack of 24, hour front desk service was a bit frustrating, as I had a late arrival and had to disturb the night staff to check in. the absence of tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been nice, along with in, room seating other than on the bed.

We stayed at La Gourmandine for a few nights and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, with great restaurants within walking distance. The hotel's facade and surroundings were very appealing. The staff were incredibly friendly and understanding, even when our dog caused a small accident. The highlight was the outstanding restaurant, offering a meal that could easily rival top-notch establishments in Paris.
